Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of Hanabi AR ("the Service"). By using the Service, you are deemed to agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

The Service is a simulation tool that calculates the direction, elevation, and apparent size of a fireworks display from your current location to the launch site, and overlays this on your camera view.

2. About the simulation results (important)

The content displayed by the Service is purely a computed simulation, and does not guarantee that the fireworks will actually be visible. Actual visibility can differ significantly due to obstructions from buildings, trees, or terrain; weather conditions; the actual launch position and program on the day of the event; and inaccuracies in our data (some events use approximate, municipality-center coordinates, shown as "Approx."). Decisions about where to view fireworks from, or whether to travel, are your own responsibility.

3. Prohibited conduct

• Placing excessive load on the Service's servers or APIs, or unauthorized access
• Redistributing or selling the Service's calculation results as your own service
• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
• Using the Service in a way that compromises safety, such as staring at the screen while walking or driving

4. Disclaimer

• The operator is not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service.
• The Service may change its content, suspend, or discontinue provision without notice.
• The accuracy and currency of the event information included (whether an event is held, its date, location) is not guaranteed. Always check each event's official announcements for the latest information.

5. Intellectual property

Rights to the programs, design, and other elements included in the Service belong to the operator or their rightful owners. Map display uses Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) tiles, and building data uses © OpenStreetMap contributors data.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the court with jurisdiction over the operator's location shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction over any disputes related to the Service.
